Random, but repeatable. INHA plugins embrace deterministic randomness using a random seed to create fixed sequences of random events and values across the DAW timeline itself. You can think of it as a random map of the whole project: for a given seed, every position on the timeline always has the same random events and values assigned to it. This way, the events remain random throughout the entire project while always staying consistent, no matter how many times you play or render the project, where playback starts, or whether the plugin was active or bypassed earlier in the timeline. Change the seed to get a completely different random map, with ~4.3 billion possible seeds to choose from.

Screenshot of INHA Tear

Tempo-synchronised time-stretch effect that tears incoming audio into stretched segments. Trigger the stretch randomly, from detected transients, by drawing them manually into a repeating two-bar grid, or freely hitting/automating the FREEZE button. Process them with the MATCH and/or spectral SMEAR stretch method, with adjustable ranges. Random events stay locked to the project timeline, so the same seed always produces the same results, wherever playback starts.

INHA Tear v1.2.5 (~0.5 MB) is for 64-bit Windows DAWs with VST3 Effect support. E.g. Fender Studio Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Studio One, Cubase, Cakewalk, etc. This plugin is not for macOS.
